Refund & Cancellation Policy

Guidelines and policies governing cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds for technical workshops, educational masterclasses, and advisory clinics.

1. Overview & Scope

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid educational services provided by Dime Learning Library Ltd, including the Architecture & Ecosystem Intensive, the Validator Infrastructure Briefing, and private technical advisory clinics.

Because our workshops involve dedicated live instruction by senior computer science educators and customized sandbox environments, cancellations and refunds are governed by the following clear terms.

2. Workshop Cancellation & Refund Timelines

Standard Group Workshops & Masterclasses:

  • More than 14 Calendar Days Prior to Start Date: If you cancel your enrollment at least 14 days before the scheduled session, you will receive a 100% full refund of the tuition fee paid, minus any non-refundable banking wire fees.
  • Between 7 and 14 Calendar Days Prior to Start Date: Cancellations made within this window are eligible for a 50% partial refund, reflecting preparatory curriculum customization already undertaken by our instructors.
  • Less than 7 Calendar Days Prior to Start Date: No refunds are issued for cancellations requested fewer than 7 days prior to the start date; however, your team may reschedule the session (see Section 3).

3. Rescheduling Policies

We recognize that engineering project timelines and production incidents can shift unexpectedly:

  • One Free Reschedule: An enrolled engineering team may reschedule their workshop dates once at no additional cost, provided written notice is submitted at least 5 business days before the original start date.
  • Notice Under 5 Days: Rescheduling requested less than 5 business days in advance may incur a £250 administrative re-booking fee to re-allocate instructor laboratory hours.

4. Non-Refundable Items & Work Already Started

The following items and circumstances are strictly non-refundable:

  • Completed Educational Sessions: Once a workshop, seminar, or advisory clinic has commenced or concluded, tuition fees are non-refundable.
  • Digital Course Handbooks & Software License Keys: If bespoke digital curriculum materials or third-party simulator keys were delivered to your team prior to cancellation, the cost of those materials (£150 per participant) will be deducted from any refund amount.
  • Attendee No-Shows: Failure of attendees to log in to virtual classrooms or appear at on-site sessions without prior written notice forfeits the entire tuition fee.

5. Company-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that Dime Learning Library Ltd must cancel a scheduled workshop due to instructor illness, severe technical infrastructure outages, or unforeseen emergencies:

  • We will immediately notify your registered contact person.
  • You will be offered the choice of priority rescheduling to convenient alternative dates or a 100% full refund of all fees paid.
